The Bootlegger Smokehouse and Bar will take you on a distinctive low & slow journey, taking inspiration from Southern BBQ and Cajan cuisines to create a mouth-watering experience to be shared.
While slow cooking and smoking meats remain at our core, we believe we have something for everyone. Aside from our kidlets menu, we are especially proud of our speciality gluten-free breads, and deserts, and provide as much flexibility as we can to accommodate all dietary needs.
We love our liquors almost as much as our meats, alongside a vibrant cocktail list, we keep the bar stocked with various spirits, new and old world wines, and of course, the taps are always loaded with local and classic beers.
We won’t kick you out early either, when we’re open, we’re open till late, keeping the kitchen going till 10 and the doors open till midnight.
Situated in the historic Niagara building, circa 1905, The Bootlegger features a classic turn of the century style with a modern touch. With two floors of dining and kitchen space, we’re perfectly equipped for large groups and functions, and also offer take-away.
From live music on the weekends, and new merch drops, to unique cocktail specials, and whisky tastings, there is always something simmering at the Bootlegger.
